Happy Birthday, Huckleberry!

Today Huckleberry is one year old! I can still remember how small and cuddly he was that first day we brought him home (well, he's still pretty cuddly)! Steven and I instantly fell in love with this precious pup. He has been the best addition to our new, little family. Despite the chewed cabinets and rugs, a scary fish hook incident, middle of the night potty outings, and many upset tummy accidents, Huckleberry has been worth every bit of it. When I was still new to Washington, and Steven and I were not yet married, this little pup filled a loneliness within me I didn't know how to let anyone else reach. He is a lifesaver, such a loyal friend, and a constant, loving companion. Happy birthday, Huckleberry! We love you so, so much!
