Pizza Bubble Ring

This weekend I was Pinterest productive --meaning I actually tried doing one of the gazillion things I pin and hope to one day do. Pinterest can be overwhelming. So many good ideas, so little time! Anyways, here's the how to and how not to retell of my pizza bubble ring recipe experiment.
Here's what you'll be needing:
8 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 cans Pillsbury flaky original biscuits
1 bag small slices pepperoni
1 bag shredded mozzarella cheese
 grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
1Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 12-cup fluted tube pan with No-Stick Cooking Spray. In small bowl, mix melted butter, Italian seasoning and garlic powder.2Separate 1 can of dough into 8 to10 biscuits; press or roll each into 3-inch rounds. Place 3 pepperoni slices in center of each biscuit round. Top each with shredded mozzarella cheese. Bring dough up around filling; press edge to seal and shape each into ball. Roll in butter mixture; place dough balls in pan.3Sprinkle dough balls with Parmesan cheese. Repeat with remaining can of biscuits, placing balls over balls in pan. Pour remaining butter mixture over top.4Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until deep golden brown. Cool 5 minutes. Gently loosen bread from sides of pan. Place large heatproof plate upside down over pan; turn plate and pan over. Remove pan. Serve warm with warm pizza sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
The recipe above is the one I followed from here, but let me go ahead and tell you how you can make this pizza bubble ring a hit on the first try.

Ignore that recipe. Well, some of it at least.

3 slices of pepperoni? Let's go with..ehhh about 6. Or 8. Or as many as you can fit in those biscuits! Same goes for the cheese. It was good, don't get me wrong. And I definitely plan on making this again. But following the skimpy pepperoni and cheese portions given above leaves you with a lot of bread and not much else for your food pallet to indulge in.

Luckily, I love bread. But next time I will be stuffin' those babies until they're about to pop!

Bon Appétit!

Way to actually make a Pinterest recipe! :D

I'm getting better about it too. Its funny how pretty much all of them turn out SO well. Must be the 'tried and true' factor.
