oh, hey Grandma!
it's me again!
your grandpup, Huck!
sorry it's been so long since I last wrote to you...
i've been busy chasing Herschel and squirrels
and getting in fights with raccoons.
since daddy's gone this week i'm the man of the doghouse.
i've been doing daily patrols around the property to make sure momma's okay.
and sometimes i herd Herschel up trees to get him out of harms way.
i'm a really good guard dog.
i use my powerful tail as a weapon.
if anything threatens the safety of my pack, the plan is to swat them with my tail!
if that doesn't work, i'll use a stick!
you see these two guys?
i call them Lucifer and Diablo.
luckily they are no longer an issue since dad put up that protective forcefield around the perimeter of our doghouse.
the one on the left...
that's Lucifer. i'm pretty sure he wants to eat me.
and rumor on the street is that he doesn't even like hotdogs...
he's not dog, grandma. that's for sure.
but don't you worry. i've got things under control.
well, at least when mom let's me stay outside on the lookout...
every now and then she tricks me with peanut butter so i'll sit in front of the x-mas tree.
she obviously doesn't understand that we can't let down our guard!
for even one moment!
oh well...
until next time! Love, Huck
p.s. i'd like hotdogs for x-mas

I love these posts! They always make my day and put a big smile on my face. Thanks for sharing your adorable pup with us!
Holly says Huck is a super duper hottie ;)
Cute post!
Haha I love your dog! I've always wanted to have a large dog but sadly, many apartments in Korea don't allow it, at least mine doesn't. Your tree looks gorgeous too! Thanks for stopping by my blog so I could find yours!
(I'm new to your blog) This is too cute & hilarious! Love the trick with peanut butter to get him to sit in front of the tree...might try that one on my girls - not sure they'd fall for it though, there's a bit of competitiveness between them.
Love the natural look of your tree!
